First released in 1917, the more-than-iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star clear converse finally gets a sequel. Introducing the Chuck Taylor II, the brand's revamp of the most famous sneaker in the world. Knowing not too mess with perfection, Converse crafts the shoe with appealing new details, but keeps the original silhouette intact. Officially unveiled in Boston yesterday with media and special guests in attendance, the Chuck Taylor II's most important new feature is a new Nike Lunarlon insole for more comfort and cushion than you'd ever expect from the shoe.
The accompanying windbreaker features the same striped pattern on one side with a solid blue hue on the reverse.CLOT and Converse just released a premium edition of the One Star , but it looks like their collaborative effort this fall isn't ending there. CLOT founder Edison Chen recently teased a look at another upcoming sneaker by the two brands, the Converse Fastbreak . The vintage 1980s comme de garcon converse basketball model reintroduced by Converse earlier this year receives a unique construction from CLOT, that from what we can see here features a grey mesh upper with cream leather at the heels and blue hairy suede around the ankle area, finished with co-branded logos embossed on each heel. Sneaking in amongst the various releases on deck for tomorrow, November 2nd, is CLOT's latest entry into Converse's premium First String series. Two heavy duty pairs of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star make up the CLOT x Converse "Chang Pao" collection , which finds its inspiration in the traditional garments of Qing Dynasty China. With the Chinese inspiration comes a distribution plan that favors the East-the only spot to grab them over here in the states is the Juice pop-up in LA. It's all about classic skate models like the Converse One Star and Vans Old Skool right now.
